Italian fashion company Stefano Ricci, in association with United Fashion Company (UFC), a United Development Company subsidiary, has opened its first Middle East showroom at The Pearl Qatar.

“We have found a great business partner in UFC and strongly believe in the Pearl-Qatar project,” said the Italian company’s CEO Niccolo Ricci in the presence of its founder Stefano Ricci.

He said the decision to open Stefano Ricci boutiques in different parts of the world had given its brand increased visibility and was aimed at connecting with the tastes and needs of different cultures.
Expressing his delight at Stefano Ricci choosing Pearl-Qatar as their showcase in the Middle East region, UDC managing director Khalil Sholy said the project distinguished itself for being a centre of excellence, quality, style and glamour.

Describing the new store, Niccolo Ricci said: “Polished walnut, crocodile furniture, and sophisticated lighting fixtures come together to create an environment that is more reminiscent of an exclusive club than of a typical store.”
“All details of this boutique are a tribute to the Stefano Ricci brand. Our customer expects quality, style, and excellence; which are all evident in the materials used to build this shop.

“When you enter the boutique, you are entering the world of Stefano Ricci,” he said.
The multi-billion dollar manmade island project will soon house other exclusive luxury brand stores such as Harmont and Blaine, Missoni, Armani, Christian Lacorix and Domenico Vacca.

UFC general manager Malik Awan said the company wished to make its customers feel that special attention was being paid to them by making men’s fashion shopping a truly unique and exclusive luxury experience.
Incorporated in 2008, UFC is a wholly-owned UDC company with a vision that sees great potential in the international language of major fashion brands.

Beginning this year at the Pearl-Qatar with the Royal Avenue luxury department store, by 2017 an additional planned network of stores will extend throughout the Middle East and into Central Europe and Asia.
