Oman-Spain Tourism Relations

Juan M Fernando, Spanish Minister for Tourism, arrived here yesterday on a four-day visit during which he will hold official talks with Dr Rajha bint Abdulameer, Minister of Tourism. The talks are expected to cover various areas of co-operation, including the development of infrastructure, investment in major tourism projects, developing promotion, exchanging expertise and organising meetings for businessmen and investors.

The Spanish minister and his delegation will visit tourism landmarks and key archaeological sites in different parts of the Sultanate, including Harat al Raml, the Castle of Ibri, Bait al Murah Castle in the Dhahirah region and Harat al Saybani and Misfat al Abriyeen in the Dakhiliyah region. The guests will also tour landmarks in Muscat Governorate like the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Muttrah souq and Bait al Zubair Museum.
