Engineering solutions provider, Petrofac received the ‘Most Valuable Contribution’ award at the recently concluded Project Qatar 2009.
The exhibition had over 900 participants. The company’s stand at the four-day event attracted the attention of a number of delegates and visitors throughout as it also introduced and launched new products at the venue, a company official said yesterday. Petrofac also hosted two seminars on the sidelines of the event. The first was on pumps by Principal Armstrong, a supplier of HVAC and fluid flow pumps.

Peter Thompson, director, global systems at Armstrong, gave an insight on efficiency of all-variable-speed-chilled water plant automation that reduces the carbon footprint.
The second seminar was on GEA Ecoflex, manufacturers of plate heat exchangers, conducted by company GEA Ecoflex Middle East sales manager Rahul Patil.

“It helps us to showcase our newly added products and services more effectively to our valuable customers at occasions such as these. It also reaffirms our continued commitment to the Qatari market,” Petrofac general manager Rony Paul said.
