As a continuation of the promotions launched to celebrate the two years mark of Blackberry service in Qatar, Qtel with the Blackberry Gemini offer a few weeks ago, brings to the market a new and innovative package for the Blackberry Bold 9000.

The new offer is designed to fuel BlackBerry enthusiasm nationwide and integrates with Qtel’s commitment to double the range of supported high-end Smartphone devices.

Customers who apply for Qtel’s Blackberry Internet Service and sign-up through the Shahry service will be able to purchase a Blackberry Bold 9000 for just QR 1,999, a major saving on the standard retail price of QAR 2,375.

In total, BlackBerry enthusiasts who take advantage of this celebratory offer will save QR 376 on their purchase of one of the most advanced BlackBerry models. They will also benefit from a BlackBerry Internet Service, with a connection fee of QAR 150 and a monthly fee of QAR 125.

BlackBerry users who want to pair the enhanced functions of the BlackBerry Bold with economical calling will find that Qtel’s Shahry Value Packs – at QAR 130, 200, 300 and 575 – fuel their calling budgets for both local and international calls.

The Packs offer a range of call minutes, SMS, MMS, and mobile Internet access for a fixed fee. As part of a promotion running through to January 15th, Qtel is enabling Shahry Value Pack customers to make international calls, as well as local, as part of their bundled minutes allowance.

Since Qtel has launched BlackBerry in Qatar in January 2008, the service has become one of the fastest-growing and most successful in the region, with the BlackBerry community growing by an astonishing 1,000 percent year-on-year.
