Wilson holds joint lead in Qatar

A superb opening round of 67 rocketed Coxmoor star Oliver Wilson to joint top of the Qatar Masters leaderboard today.
Wilson hit birdies at the second, fourth, seventh, 10th, 12th and 13th hole to cancel out a dropped shot at the third for a five under par round.

The world number 43, who last week missed the cut in Abu Dhabi, is joint leader with Bradley Dredge, one stroke clear of a host of players including Lee Westwood and Robert Karlsson.

Wilson is yet to win a tour title and has worked hard during the close season to improve his putting.
