Qatar Airways Goa Flight

Qatar Airways is flying to its 10th destination in India – Goa – from today.
The inaugural flight to Dabolim Airport near Goan capital Panaji will leave Doha at 9-25 tonight.
Goa will be the national carrier’s 84th destination worldwide and connected to Doha four times a week.
Qatar Airways will now be connecting India with 64 weekly flights – the airline’s single largest country in the network in terms of destinations.
The national carrier’s non-stop Goa service will leave Doha at 9.25pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

An airline spokesman told Gulf Times that Qatar Airways would be using a two-class Airbus A320 on the Doha – Goa route. The aircraft will have 12 seats in business and 132 seats in economy.
The non-stop service to Dabolim Airport will be a boon to thousands of Goans living in Qatar.
The Goan community in Qatar has already welcomed Qatar Airways decision to fly non-stop to Goa, which is one of the finest tourist resorts in Asia.
“The inaugural flight is nearly booked to capacity, which shows the demand for seats on the route,” the spokesman said.
Goa is Qatar Airways’ second route launch to India in two weeks. On October 11, the national carrier began flying to Amritsar in Punjab with four weekly services.
Qatar Airways also operates daily non-stop services to the Indian cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode.
